Internet search suggests this is the "Windows Technical Support" scam.

Had a text off these people Uncle Buck then followed by a phone call scam I think

Caller said hello. I said who s calling? Caller hung up after brief silence.

I answered, phone was hung up. Returned call, no answer.

I had send a mail to HSBC and this number rang me back to discuss the matter. The woman on the other end of the line wanted me to confirm my e-mail address and then answered my query. So unless someone hacked the e-mail system of HSBC, I m pretty sure it s a legit number.

Same as Freddie, given by someone on a dating website claiming to be someone they are not. Scammer, wanting money, lots of stories about why they need money- not who they say they are DO NOT TRUST TIMEWASTER.

Eco seal, window company, wouldn t take my details off their system I told him not to call and he wouldn t take no for an answer and said he will call later after I told him plenty of times I didn t want anything to do with them

Whoops!! My initial post a few mins ago shows incorrect rating. This is defo untrustworthy not a 1 - trustworthy!!

Telling I had reported trouble with my computer, I asked which one and they said my laptop. Told them I did not have a laptop, they then hung up.

Recorded msg from Amazon stating that my Prime account would autorenew unless I pressed 1. I do not have a Prime account so obviously a scam.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily.
