Have now blocked this number on my phone and registered my number with Telephone Preference Service (http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html) "TPS is a central opt out register whereby individuals can register their wish not to receive unsolicited sales and marketing telephone calls. They called just now, as soon as I heard pause then background noise with foreign man speaking , likely Indian, saying from BT I hung up. They called back immediately and asked why I hung up as it was a v important call. I said I wasn’t with BT it was a scam and Again I put phone down. What are we to go about these nuisance calls?
Its a PPI company, using a local number so i stupidly answered it!
