This number called me and said they were calling about an accident I had within the last 3 years. I asked her what accident would that be? She said you tell me! I said no you seem to know so much about me you tell me. She was so rude. She said don t give me that all you had to say was yes or no. Male voice, purporting to be relating to a police investigation to do with fraud and they are going to have to suspend my National Insurance number! Stopped the call at that point and hung up.

Scam call starting with automated message about suspicious VISA transactions. I selected the option to talk to someone. They could not explain who they represented, and started asking for my details. When I asked them to verify who they were, they hung up.
As soon as you answer, the caller shuts down so what is the point of them calling. nuisance value or to check whether you are in.No idea but these nerds are a menace to everyone.
Claimed to be Amazon with an enquiry about an undelivered package - I don't have any outstanding orders with Amazon.

SCAM, this was the second of 3 phone calls I got on a saturday morning, when i was still in bed, the first 2 before 9am, I have an answer machine and neither of the first 2 left messages, dont have call logging, so can only retrieve the last caller, which was this number, then around 9:54 the phone rang for a third time, I answered immediately, as I was actually holding the phone when it rang, said hello twice, no response, then they hung up that number was 01375405982.
Hmmm, Made an online enquiry about a Stair Lift yesterday evening, using a pseudonym, and they call the following morning asking for me by that pseudonym. Very interesting!
