He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. A man called who said he was Vodafone and then EE and offered me an outrageous deal of essentially free minutes, free data and free texts for £6 per month. I checked the vodafone website and the closest deal was £33. I suspect that this is a scam and will report.

This is a scam, claim to be calling from EE Promotions. Tried selling me a Iphone 15 Pro so somehow there have a phone which is not even been made yet. Didn't even ask who I was. Do not give them any information. EE provides a list of numbers on there website where there will call you from, this is not on that list.
