Fraud suspected. Automated call saying they were from the Chinese Embassy and then switched to speaking in Chinese.
Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse (I do not have a contract with them). Probably a scam, but I didn't talk to them for very long.

It’s on a letter that appears to be spam communication about rewards for playing the National Lottery regularly. Name and address on letter. I don’t do the lottery online. So just checking it out.

Text from this number telling me this was the second and final attempt to contact me. that I had won the April draw and please click the link. No idea what the April Draw is, and will not be clicking the link! It could potentially be dangerous.
I don’t know who they are but I will find them I have a very unique set of skills I will kill you. They are saying that they want to send free lottery tickets. Scam. They are a debt recovery agency trying to track down people with bad debt. I don’t do debt I owe no one anything how the hell they got my number is a mystery. Any I think they are a fraud. The number is now blocked. I thought there was a law against this sort of phone scam.
They called my mobile, but I got Spam Warning. They called again. I blocked this number.

The gentleman (not) who called asked if it was me. I asked what was the call regarding... He asked for my name again... Again, I asked what was the call regarding... He responded, "would you FUCK OFF!" I cut off the call and blocked the number...!

It’s a scam! Told me they had noticed an unusual amount for £1100.00 had been taken from my account. Said they wanted to verify that I had spent it, which I hadn’t but they wanted me to confirm account details.I asked who them to repeat who they were and they said from visa. Very rude. Very bad. Wouldn’t tell me who was calling. Just wanted me to confirm my name with a yes or no. When I would not say yes or no and just kept asking who was calling, she said well you can piss off! and put the phone down on me. Don’t ever say yes or no on the phone - they record it and use it as approval for trying to get into accounts etc.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.

Funny how over the last week, I have been getting calls from Manchester on my mobile. They alway hangup before it goes to my answer service. This has to be a sales call or fake service that has picked up on my number, otherwise they would leave a message for me to get back to them.

Interestingly, RF President Putin was reported to be visting Dagestan [where this phone number originates?] yesterday.
