Just received a call from this number now. A guy called James was the caller and said he was calling on behalf of my bank as I had apparently been in contact with them, which I haven t and he had my name also. It sounded like he was giggling and chuckling whilst he was reading out his spiel so I hung up. Will be keeping an eye out for this number calling again so I won t pick up.

I received an automated voice message claiming to be from Amazon Prime, saying that my Amazon Prime account will continue and that a sum of money would be removed from my bank account for this. I do not have an Amazon Prime account and have never had one, so I'm sure that this was a scam call. I'm afraid that I didn't listen to the full message to find out what it was asking me to do.

The irritating Saving Preference Company have been calling me for the last month, on average, about 3/4 times a day!!! I had the same experience as Dani. I d cut them off as they couldn t give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably a scam. I have now blocked this number

The caller was an Indian man who knew my name, but refused to tell me his name or which company he is calling on behalf of. He hung up after I told him I will take legal action against unsolicited and junk calls.
