Received a call on my mobile. Phishing scam. Indian sounding man claiming to be calling from BPC limited. (British something Claims. Calling about PPI claims and telling me the...

This number left a message on my answering machine. The message says to press 5 or press 9 to opt out of future calls. I have no idea what will really happen if I press 5 or 9 because the message left was not complete. The message will have to stay on my phone because I m not going to press any button when I don t know the consequences.

Phoned me twice this morning on my mobile and hung up on me, a pain when your busy doing gardening and DIY.

As soon as I answered the phone they hung up without saying anything!! Thanks for the comments on this. I have call barred this number now.

I had the same experience as Dani. I d cut them off as they couldn t give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably a scam. I have now blocked this number

Maybe a hundred times they called. If answered you get hung up on. Nuisance call. Possibly on purpose ? Passed on from the last ppi caller i told to go jump. Who knows but ...Mysteriously a few days later a new number always appears .. usually ppi or sometimes ive had an accident lmao

Called from 01245 407320 Unsolicited call from these cowboys today ( 25 Oct 2014). Despite my number being on the TPS, they asked for me by name. My wife wouldn t put the call thru to me until they confirmed what they wanted to ask me about. The caller refused to confirm this, so wifey hung up on them. Not sure who the caller is so didnt answer. If they call me again and like you guys have said it being about a dyson hoover. I may record this and make a right prank out of it myself and stick it on youtube :)

This number called me this morning with the thickest indian accent i have ever heard i could barely understand what she was saying other than my name and opportunity then through some hindu in there to make you call back this is a very dodgy company avoid at all costs

Been called several times and the caller just hangs up WHAT is this all about and what are they getting from it I wonder if you call back you will be charged an excessive amount
