Claiming I had a car accident and they can help with the claim, when challenged how they obtained my number (registered on TPS) they became very aggressive and abusive. Clearly they operating some sort of scam. Once you begin to challenge them they shut down they will hang up and place you on hold and refuse to give any credible information which would allow you to then report the issue appropriately to get them shutdown.

Call to my landline 19:04hrs. I answered and didn t speak (my usual gig on mobiles too, when called by an unknown or unrecognised number); a man s voice said "hello, hello, hello..." then "la la la la" then hung up. Poor thing, must be driven mental by people who answer but don t engage...about time the worm turned? This line is new, ex-directory and only my Dad & Stepmum have this number. PPI ambulance chasers - really poor call, asking to speak to my now dead mother and when told deceased, went on to say there is good news for me as I can claim up to ?112k!!! Rude, didn t listen and badly scripted. The unsolicited caller could not explain to me how she could claim back between ?2500 and ?112,000 (!!!) when all I have ever had is an overdraft that is paid off in full at the end of the month!! She was happy to end the call when I said I worked in the finance industry and know I had no PPI.
