not a cold call, - just a business - I filled an application form out for PPI, was just a follow up call, gentleman on the other was very polite and informative. seems genuine.

SCAM had a call from this number by a woman claiming to be from O2. Offering a discount on all 02 contracts. I asked what name she had on the file and told me that she didn't have a name that it was a general call to all 02 customers for this great offer of 50% off the contract. I told that you don't work for 02, if you did you would know my full name and customer account number, with this she groaned and hung up.

A text message from this number asking who I am, and claimed I had called them earlier, which was not the case. They message back asking for my name, I ignored this text too.
Probably scam. I’ve been bombarded every day for a couple of months from UK numbers with different attempt at fraud. Nowadays I just block the numbers, but they keep valling from new numbers every day. Persistant buggers.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

SCAM ! I received an email notification of a Paypal subscription being taken out. The billing address was: Asmee Kaia Hawthorns Nightingale Avenue West Horsley, Surrey, KT24 6NZ United Kingdom and this phone number, The above address was given on the billing address and doesn't relate to the phone number for the actual address for this phone number.
Don't know who called from this number but they didn't leave message and so far have not called back.

He called me on 26/02/2023 from 17.00 on wards every 20 minutes or so till 20.00 hours i disconnected the. then around 15.00 hours he started calling again silent all the time this went on for 10 calls the i did not pick so blocked my land line by leaving phone off hook. SCAM txt message from this number. Advising me I’ve been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive. Please order a test kit: with a web address. (Doesn’t even say positive for what) Fools! I attempted to look up the web address on my iPad and it came up as non existent. Presumably they would have tried to make me pay for them.
SCAM Certainly not from within the UK and claiming to be from Citizen's advice bureau. Keep them on the phone and have some fun with them if you have the time. It's better then hanging up or getting upset.
