Scam. Claims to be from HSBC trying to warn me about an unauthorised payee request. Honestly, as if times aren't hard enough without these scum bags trying to steal from working people. Lazy too as it comes from a normal mobile number. They should be ashamed of themselves on several levels. Lazy, thieving and incompetent. I don't know which one is worse.

I had a missed call from this number and having read here that it was a debt collection company I panicked that I had forgotten to pay something! So the man on the phone searched my number and in the meantime asked for my surname. I replied that surely he should know my surname as it was them who called me. Recorded female voice saying that "they" have been trying to contact me, and my phone will be disconnected within 24 to 48 hours, and to press 1 for more info. Similar call received yesterday from 01 1679 422 549. The caller does not give her name or her company. Obviously dangerous.Just hang up.

Got a call from this number turned out to be part of the carphone warhouse dealing with upgrades very helpful and very well priced would definatly recommend
Fraud they called me saying that my name was under a fraud investigation and that if I didn't press 1 I would be arrested shortly!. I have no reason to be on a fraud list I know this so this is a scam!
