Fraud; 18/11/2021, 0730hrs female sounding voice calls unsolicited, spoken English, with heavy Indian / Asian accent. Back ground noise, possibly a call centre / boiler room. Female voice informs me of suspicious activity on my Amazon account. I don't have an Amazon account. Call terminates when I ask for an informed opinion on whether wearing stockings or hold-ups on a first date is conducive to romance.
Obvious scam. Said this is British Telecom, your phone and internet will be terminated unless you press button one and talk to a manager.

I missed the call but then the number 07775555028 sent me a text message to say "Voicemail message received 10:34 on 13th Jul. Duration 6s. Click or call 22215 to hear this message at your normal call rate." which all seems very scammy. The number 22215 was linked so I wouldn't say its safe to click it. Automated voice stating they where calling from HMRC and that there was a fraudulent case against me and if I did not press 1 immediately then a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. Firstly HMRC will never call you and secondly I am still waiting for the police to show up at my door and arrest me for nothing. Utter nonsense. Don't be fooled by these calls people.

SCAM / SPAM This was an English speaking polite male telling me that the Government funded insulation in my loft could be causing damage to my property and he wanted to arrange a visit to examine it. Fortunately before the call went any further he mentioned the "foam insulation" and when I said it was not foam in my loft he rang off. OBVIOUSLY A SCAM. He didn't get round to asking for bank details but I am sure he would have it I hadn't realised what he was up to.

It seems to be the start of the open pest phone calls season - I haven t answered the phone for 3 years now and have a peaceful life - except for the phone ringing. Why does the government not make this constant harassment illegal? Freedom of speech is OK to a certain extent as we have seen in recent years religious pests but surely the recipient is entitled to a quite life.

SCAM Avoid like the plague. left message saying your internet will be turned off within 24 to 48 hours, then to press 1 to speak to a technition. Glad i didnt as scam and scum who are doing this. Total scum, i could say a lot more stronger what i think of them, hope Police catch up with them and thrown in jail and toss the key down a drain. PS, an internet search on Google came up with a Vodaphone Mobile being used in Manchester England.
