indian guy called today saying he was windows support, said my dad is the registered user of windows, (my dad has never used a pc in his life, had dementia and now is dead) when told to the so called windows guy, he just kept reading from the script, do not give any info to them, its a scam and they will do anything to get your money.

Why doesn t anyone do something about these calls? They really do annoy a lot of people and I am sure someone somewhere can stop these scammers. Why should we allow this to happen with the technology we have today? They are out to commit fraud and they should be stopped. So let us all get together and do something and just go along with whatever they ask but give them a lot of lies. JUst give them a false name and keep them on the line for as long as you can. This number rang my mobile when I answered there was no reply. When I rang back message said I had dialled an incorrect number....very suspect

This number called me yesterday, and several times today. I picked up the most recent call and a girl laughed down the phone and hung up. No attempt to sell me anything or talk about pensions, as other comments have said, just straightforward nuisance call. Have now blocked them.

Got an unsolicited call from this number. Did not pick up the phone but dialled 1471 to find out the number that had called me. Turned out to be Solution Marketing of Nottingham so I have complained to the TPS with whom my landline is registered.

LAdy pretending to be from telephone preference service, gives you your name, address and postcode. Then says preference service rewuires you to renew your membership giving the existing Debit card details. Then asks for the details - I refused. At this point line went dead.
