Asian sounding man called today from a call center. He was distracted by my dog barking and wanted to get into a conversation about my dog which was obviously a rouse to get me to try and interact with him. I rather abruptly interrupted him 3 times to ask how I can help him when he started mumbling something about post codes and fuel. Received numerous calls from this number regarding an accident i had been involved in, claiming that i was due compensation due to a personal injury, had numerous conversations with them telling them i was dealing with my insurance company. calls became frequent and abusive with **** on the other end swearing at me and hanging up. Claimed to be a “Michael Fernandez” from Windows Technical Department.He told me that there has been a corruption with my computer and that he has to resolve it for me and started to give me directions on where to navigate on my pc. I stopped him and asked what exactly the problem was and he said it was something to do with the RAM and hardware and that if he doesn’t help me it will cause me major problems. I asked him for his number (0161 818 2022) - no answer naturally.
