This number called me and I questioned them on it. When they ask me if I use any of their cards, I said no. They hung up and refuse to accept the call.

They are called Connect. They refuse to take no for an answer. Even when the other numbers they call from are blocked they use a different number. They actively harass and do it in the full knowledge of what they are doing. Report them and their number on the ICO s website. It only takes two minutes and will hopefully result in their MD personally bankrupted for blatant harassment.

When you try to call back, you have an Asian female who just giggles and will not state which company she is calling from. I got calls from these people a couple of year back. Answered the call, gave them my details, ended up with £160 in my pocket (£250-£90 fee) They do charge a percentage but what can you expect. The do what the say and seem to go all out to win. They even contacted the financial ombudsman on my behalf concerning other issues I have. The fee is a little steep though.

I am ex-directory, but I just had a phone call from UK Law. My advice is, if they ring you, dial 141 followed by their number, 01512219676, and make sure you have heavy metal music on full volume with your music speakers by the mouthpiece of your phone. It worked for me.
