Called on my mobile to asked if I was interested in selling my business. I don t know how they got my mobile number.

Silent call. Part of other numbers ending with 072 with different area codes. Calls multiple times a day. Calling back results in no answer and put on hold to music.

I must have had ten calls this last week from a company calling themselves UK Preference. Today s number used was 01612228888. The voice was an Indian male and was very persistent talking over me when I told him to take me off their calling list and to stop calling me. On one day last week I had three calls from this same company within one hour. Most annoying. I had to put my phone down in the end because they would not listen to me. Called them back, sounded like a call centre but nobody spoke. They then hung up (Twice) Phone says the code is Gairloch in Scotland.

The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. Too long a pause to wait for an answer. After I received this call my virus protector warned me that my computer was connected to an unsafe wi-fi link. It definitely had been OK before. I don t know if there was any connection between these things but I would check your wi-fi after receiving it to be on the safe side
