Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. I said yes I have had a few - he then hung up - shame. In the words of Homer Simpson wasted my time and his - not quite sure what he was trying to get

SCAM Very rude gentleman claiming to be from BT and asking me to access a website because of a (non-existent) change to my Internet connection. Became aggressive and clueless when I asked him to prove his identity, before giving up easily. Come on, guys, you're not even *trying* to be convincing any more! Amateur.

The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. I am now receiving phone calls telling me I am entitled to a free upgrade and cheaper phone rate. I have told them several times now over five days that this is already sorted and I am now still receiving phone calls. Calls from this number received two days running. Tried returning call but unsuccessful. First call nothing heard. Second call talk of someone having an accident.

The caller called no company name and required a man unknown to me. I told her that she would have been there probably dialed the wrong number and she said no, that is in my way on the list. I meant that their list is wrong then and hung up. Since then try it again and again.

Had a missed call. Called back and was told it was EE and that no further action was required! Strange ... maybe they were testing the number to make sure it was still in use for further nuisance calls!

The call from this number was supposedly from BT saying my landline was to be cut off. I checked with my provider who confirmed this was a scam call as none of my service is from BT. My provider has referred the number to their specialist department for investigation.

Ppi credit agent, told not interested 5 times, still continue to ask if I have had any texts or voicemails when asked what s it to do with them they get angry an then say well have you checked your credit file, when told one last time I m not interested the woman said fine an hung up Don t waste time answering to them

nNo one I know or have heard of so assume phishing scam.
