This number called our landline today , my husband who is partly deaf answered the phone and couldn't make out with the caller wanted, only that it was a woman with an English voice . this was far from the first time this number called our land line, i have also received calls from this number on my mobile phone , which i have now blocked. This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.
