Received a text from this mobile number claiming to be First Direct Bank, with a link. Apparently my account has been suspended, tap link to verify activity. I am not with First Direct and why would a bank be texting anybody? These texts with links are designed to trick us into installing scamming software on our phones. Please do not tap on these links. SCAM This started out as a text asking if i was Anna. They werent sure they had the right No. I said no it wasnt. They then initiated a conversation which soon led to them asking for personal info. They gave me this No, saying it was their company No and i could join their private Whatsapp so we could exchange photos. When I started asking about what they said was their home town, they stopped replying...unsurprisingly. The No they were texting from is a deffinate scam No, so this No is likely dangerous
