Someone named Clive Roberts rang me from this number today 4/11/15 at 11am stating he was calling on behalf of 02. He said he was offering a promotion that 02 were providing. He asked me the usual how much am i paying for my payg per month, i was vague in my answers. He said he could offer me a package of unlimited free calls (to any network), unlimited texts, 2 GB of data for ?18 a month (after gauging i spent roughly ?20 a month for my credit). I guess the previous owner had to cancel the number because of debt collecter calls. I have never gave this number to anybody yet so I just ignore it. SCAM SPAM Fraud phone call as others have claimed that they pretend to be from O2 (probably trying to take advantage of the Virgin media/O2 partial merger) or hang up instantly. They don't leave voicemails or attempt more than once as it's an automated machine going through a number list.

Automated voice said there was a tax fraud enquiry against me and that if I did not press 1 to speak to an operator a warrant would shortly be issued for my arrest. I'm jobless. Lol
SCAM CALL. Claimed to be from sky. Knew I had Sky package said I had technical issues. English not their first language. As a test I said no I don’t have technical issues, I don’t even have Sky! Her tone changed and she said “you do have sky the way you know is to look at your dish outside” Asked me to confirm details and I just felt suspicious. Her tone was really sharp and demanding saying I needed to confirm my details so they can fix the problem. Hung up and called Sky from my phone. they confirmed=SCAM
I answered the call but the line had gone dead.
3 calls from this number in the last 3 days on my mobile while I was in france. No one speaks when answered. Bloody nuisance I have to pay to recieve calls when in France.

Indian sounding male with very broken English. After the fourth time of asking I finally managed to decipher that he said he was calling from BT Openreach. When I said 'OK I understand now' there was a long pause as if he didn't know what to say next. I could hear someone in the background also saying 'This is BT Openreach'. When I asked him what he was calling about he just kept repeating 'This is BT Openreach'. I asked him if he had lost his script......and he rang off.

This number is blocked on my phone but they now leave voicemail. If you re notified you have voicemail but there s nor recognisable number in your Recent Calls list, it s most likely left by a blocked caller. Don t waste time or money picking up.
This number is on a list of "available" SIM numbers on a Vietnamese web site. It would appear to be very suspicious and best avoided.

Pre-recorded message claiming to be from bank saying there had been two suspicious transactions and giving options to press 1 or 2, depending on what response mine was. Voice was good RP English. Investigations and trackers located source to the Khram Pokrova Presbytery at Bogoroditsy in the New Soviet Union (Russian Federation) Republic of Mordovia.

This lot called me on my work mobile asking for my husband but then using a surname that wasnt ours - similar but replacing two letters. Then started to talk about our insurance but didnt know much about it..."so you pay monthly then..>" When i started to question who they were they hung up
Non-native English speaker asked for someone I ve never heard of, then wanted the lady of the house instead. Hung up but they rang back two hours later. Complained to TPS.
