Have now blocked this number on my phone and registered my number with Telephone Preference Service (http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html) "TPS is a central opt out register whereby individuals can register their wish not to receive unsolicited sales and marketing telephone calls. Computer-generated male voice with pre-recorded message advising that it was BT who were today going to disconnect my broadband connection unless I pressed 1 or 2 to speak with an advisor who would "fix up" my problem.
I think I recognize this no.to my landline but they have now got my mobile no. and called this morning and I missed the call and because I only use it to text I didn t realise it costs me to listen to voicemail and it costs me 60p - lesson learned now.
