This company has called a couple of times trying to show its a local number and when you pick up they drop the call. The idea is that you are intregued as it's local to call them back. I haven't called them but blocked their number. Why do we get these

I received a number of cold calls from 4420 8086 2676, and now they have started from this new number, also registered in London but what sounds like a Malaysian call centre.

SCAMI called this twice it is supposed to be a conection to HMRC. They kept me on hold each time for 24 minutes before cutting me off. I have received a bill for £88.00. Beware

SPAM - some company keeps calling regarding a trading account, they call from different numbers all over the country, in the last week I've received 15+ calls, I've repeatedly requested them not to call but they continue to do so, today's called got very abusive when I told him I'd report them if they didn't stop calling me!
