I had send a mail to HSBC and this number rang me back to discuss the matter. The woman on the other end of the line wanted me to confirm my e-mail address and then answered my query. So unless someone hacked the e-mail system of HSBC, I m pretty sure it s a legit number.

Had a call from this number just now. He said that he is from EE and started asking a lot of questions about my contact with EE. The sort of phone I am using, how long the contract is,...etc., I got suspicion because EE should have all those details without having to ask me especially as I am still in contract with them. Had a call at 11:27. He said his name was Barry/ Garry and he was calling to renew my Vodafone contract. My contract is not due for renewal for another year! I told him I would ring back. I did not.
