RECORDED ENGLISH ACCENT CLAIMED TO BE FROM AMAZON WITH FRAUD ACTIVITY ON MY ACCOUNT 07447077845 Indian/Pakistani accent after a recorded message with multi choice. I did my usual barrage of EXPLETIVES 'you know what i mean' and they hung up. Don't be fooled by these scam artists. AMAZON WOULD NEVER PHONE YOU WITH ANY PROBLEM WITH YOUR ACCOUNT.

Recorded message reporting unusual activity on my credit card. One transaction from Amazon and a foreign transaction for 999 pounds. Press 1 to authorise payment or 2 to speak to an advisor Strongly suspect this is a scam. As it was a local number I tried to call it back later and got unobtainable signal. Beware.

Did not have business with this number

Got an 'NHS' text from this number (why? I live 200 miles from Oswestry!) about my 'referral'. The text didn't mention my name or surgery so alarm bells rang. Obvious scam asking me to call back to 'discuss' my referral.

They're pretending to be iD Mobile but they're not, god knows how they're finding what mobile service we're with to try and make the text message look genuine. Thought this was the vets calling back but just another waste of space scam call/ caller with a recorded message. Charges about international calling mentioned but ended call quickly. Oxygen theives is what all these so called people are. DO NOT ANSWER.

This number call me to Portugal. I don't know any people who live in England, so i google it and saw its a number who sails financial products. Seems a scheme

Answered call and voice identified himself as Energy advisor in area and asking to confirm as householder. Feeling polite, I responded yes but do not entertain cold calls and asked to end call. The voice continued making me believe it is voice-activated and not to be trusted. I put the phone down.

An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

SCAM, they crawl databases for car accidents and seem to be trying to make money from it in some way. AVOID.

Hello fresh scam

SCAM This looked like a local number BUT it was a recorded message purporting to come from Amazon about a sizeable sum taken from my account for an order and to press 1 if it wasn't me who made the order. Needless to say I hung up without pressing any numbers.
