They have rang me several times asking about life insurance. My view is that if you have enquired previously about what they are trying to sell then fair enough. But if it us completely random then dont trust them.

They are called Connect. They refuse to take no for an answer. Even when the other numbers they call from are blocked they use a different number. They actively harass and do it in the full knowledge of what they are doing. Report them and their number on the ICO s website. It only takes two minutes and will hopefully result in their MD personally bankrupted for blatant harassment.

Eventually had about 5 calls a day from this number. never answered as my caller id said it was from jersey otherwise I would ve picked up a mobile number. rang them a few times before only for it to be cut straight off. eventually got through, threatened them with personal harassment and dealing with contacting me using unsolicited information. asked them to remove me off their system as politely as possible. fingers crossed that s all.

This number called me this morning. I answered to hear only silence before an automated female voice said “Goodbye” and the call cut off.

My wife gave me a look of surprise today. We had just finished scanning a forty page service manual for a customer who wanted a printed copy posting. Is was getting near the cut off time for the post office, and the laser printer had decided that its drum was reaching the end of its life leavening splodges on the pages. Suddenly the phone rang, I answered it and after about ten seconds said F--- OFF James and slammed the phone down. What my wife did not hear was the sound of a call centre and a
