Second call this morning from Amazon.Same recording but different number. International call from Scotland, just over an hours drive away. It is becoming harassment.
Fraud pretending to be BT ref Broadband speed asked who reported it and they hung up.
While I was unavailable this number called. Not at first recognising it, I was about to return the call out of courtesy. Then I checked, and realised it was the p.p.i. criminals yet again. They must be pestering thousands in this way for their own selfish gain. I will breathe a sigh of relief when they are prosecuted.

SCAM Called to say my home appliance cover will be discounted. Gave the name of Chris Jones and a contact number of 08007789104. Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. SCAM possibly. Called workplace land line. Pretended to be Virgin Media. Young man from South Asia. Convinced I had problems with the wifi and they had warnings. unable to clarify what about. Then he asked how many devices were connected and hung up! I was just enjoying that! :-(

They have called me 4 times in the past 2 days. I'm waiting for a bad news phone call from the hospital and I keep getting these unwanted calls. Grrrr!

Rang my mobile briefly and then stopped. No message left. Probably trying to get me to call them back. I ve had a lot of this type of call lately and they re always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one.

This number called my landline on the 10th of December at 11.18 I answered and said "This number no longer receives incoming calls" as I have had calls before from this number and know it is a scam. The number called again and the 11th December 11.31, 12th December 9.53 14th December 16.40 and again 15th December 15.33 again I answered with the message I had said before. getting fed up with it now.

Keep calling even tho I didn t answer, when the son accidently answered cos I wasn t near the phone he told me who thery were. It is no use you asking/telling them to remove your number because they don t. I actually changed my number for this reason, and guess what? today they tried ringing my new number. It is now set to block and no matter what you tell them they just keep trying.

My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.
Very annoying. Had 3 calls from this number in the bast 2 days. Same person, calling him self Eric. Don t know where they re calling from but extremely annoying.

SCAM - tried to tell me I was entitled to over £2k from mis sold ppi... on a free... cash only bank account open less than 3 months....
MISSED CALL: I didn't get to the phone in time to answer, but the call was from an unknown number in Manchester, so it was probably another scam call.
Silent call hung up when the answer phone came in.
