Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing. Saying from the tax office and to press 1 to speak to someone scam
This phone number has been an issue with my house phone. This number has appeared on my VM bill for the moths of Oct, Nov,Dec,Jan ,Feb and March before I realised I had not made the call. It appears every 12 hours as a call that lasts less than 1 minute and each call is charged at 39 pence . Does not sound a lot until you add it up over the period of time which then accounts for over £60.00.
Called stating they were from "VISA Security". I hung up after hearing that.
