received a call, hit 5 and number rings out of country, didn t wait for anyone to pickup incase I was charged

Just phoned me asking For My ex ....... saying he had been involved in a car accident recently which would be near impossible because of circumstances.

Phoned many times. Talking about an accident and claim that if you pass details they can stop all further calls. Asked to be removed. Without giving details and has phoned a few more times today.

I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks. This number called my mobile. Before I could answer it rang off. On phoning it from landline it is unobtainable. Possible scam of some sort?

I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!
