I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks. Today at 10.30 am I received a call from a man who with-held his number requesting to speak to me by name and I replied to him not known .He was very rude and did not introduce himself when I asked who is speaking. Telemarketer who would not accept that I was not interested in call. In the end had to put phone down and he tried to ring back twice, I then blocked the number from calling my phone.

Never give any information to an unknown caller, no matter how plausible they sound.

Alleged to be a number dealing with BT problems with scammimg emails/broadband, but when I asked for details of the address to verify their information they gave the wrong/incorrect address for me, which showed they were not from BT.
