This call was a follow-up call from the Met Police after I reported a theft via their 101 non-emergency number. They repeated to me details from my 101 call, so I have no doubt it was the police. I imagine its unknown etc as it comes through their switchboard, I get the same when the wife rings me from work phone.

Reject the call and then block the number before answering for the first time. I cancelled my Labour Membership and now I am getting calls from this number to rejoin, sometimes at 9pm.

Why doesn t anyone do something about these calls? They really do annoy a lot of people and I am sure someone somewhere can stop these scammers. Why should we allow this to happen with the technology we have today? They are out to commit fraud and they should be stopped. This company called my mobile number regarding probate on a will. I missed the call but a message was left with the number to call back. Wish there was a way to stop the rogue callers.
