Fraud SCAM The caller claimed to be from mobile phone promotion department offering a discount. I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. This call has been reported to the UK National Cyber Security Centre.
Although there are only poll here, I feel disturbed and annoyed. The call again and speak nothing on the answering machine. Then, when someone talks to me and is not placed directly if one wants to conduct a survey.
SCAM. I am getting a lot of practice in ignoring these calls. I am getting very fed up with the amount I get. Still, good practice for my patience levels.

Third call. Getting tedious! Picked up call to receive a recorded message about saving money on gas and electric bills. Offered option of pressing number for details or to be removed. I hung up.
Had a series of different calls from Staines number with 512 prefix - PPI ambulance chasing and supposed debt recovery. some call centre attempting any scam to get your details. Have asked to be removed numerous times only to be advised my number is in the autodialer

Usual SCAM - this time looking like a local phone no - they're getting sneakier! Same old Automated Scam message - Amazon & International Money Transfer (aye, aye..,heard this **** for years). Then they invite you to press 1 or 2 to speak to your Scammer - for Identity Theft, or Fraud. Two calls now, both on behalf of the Blue Cross animal centre. Usual long winded guff about what a great person I was for previous support. If it weren t so nauseating they might do better. Claimed to be local (Cambridge), so not very honest generally.
