Foreign voice said could reduce my bills It seems as though scammed are getting round cold calling by using 02 prefixed numbers when you 1471 comes back will number doesn t exist .

This number has called me at least once,but as many as four times, each day this week. I only answered the first two as it was a survey or the automated Goodbye .

They call everyday on my mobile for the last few months. No point in telling them you want your number removed and they are not allowed to keep calling as illegal they just ign...

It is one of those days.....I have had three of these calls in one morning when exceptionally busy. Criminals make up these numbers - all fake and nearly always different - to call me to try to persuade me to fall for their story that there is something wrong with my computer or internet connection. Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn t my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn t had an accident, she hung up on me.

Said he was from National Accident UK about an accident I d allegedly had last September. This is the second call I ve had. When I asked him for the registered address he ignored me. When I asked again he hung up.

I have now logged a total of 28 calls in the last month at all hours of the night and morning, same as previous replies to this post, just a nuisance, have now registered my landline to TPS and will lodge a complaint with them about this

I think this was a scam call claiming to be from my internet provider.
