3 calls in 2 days, none of which I have answered for the same reasons cited above. Have now blocked this number on my phone and registered my number with Telephone Preference Service (http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html) "TPS is a central opt out register whereby individuals can register their wish not to receive unsolicited sales and marketing telephone calls. It is a legal requirement that companies do not make such calls to numbers registered on the TPS."
A man called me as The Boiler protection Network. He made out that I was getting a discount on my home serve plan due to no claims. He knew some of my information, somewhat insistent for me to give my card details saying its the way to reduce my policy rate. I thought for a moment and said I will not give my card details over the phone so he said he would not reduce my rate. he was so pushy and abrupt it aroused my suspicions so I said could not find my card and had visitors. SCAM I don't know who this company is but they are ARSEHOLES. I answered, they asked to speak to *my name*, I said "who's calling" , they said "good afternoon *my name* I'm Alex how are you today?" , I said "which company are you and why are you calling me?" He then MIMICKED me like a primary school child and hung up. What a sad life to have, working for a scumbag scam company bullying people on their own phone numbers.
