The person on the other end told me they were ringing to review my mortgage. When I told her I was uncomfortable discussing it over the phone, she got aggressive and rude. She told me my husband had requested a callback which I knew was a lie because he doesn t deal with this stuff over the net or phone!! when I said that he wouldn t have requested a callback she was really abusive and before she could hang up I told her how rude she was!! Fuming!

The clue is in the number. Apart from inner city London, when last I looked, all UK numbers begin with 01. 4th call from same centre according to map - suspected spoof number. Selling either pensions or forex broker or timeshare. Absolute nuisances. They tell you that you have just opened an account with them. Liars. Advise pick up and let them read their script. Leave until they terminate call, so it costs them, then block number.
