SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Another unknown number, one and a half rings at 1730, I wouldn t have answered anyhow, as I was in the bath. But I will of course block the number as, I stopped working in Crewe over four years ago, so there is no reason for anyone in Crewe to be calling. Also no message left.

The guy just went straight into a script, no explanation of why he was calling or what the company were about. I put the phone down, "Grants" and Windows were mentioned.
