Got a call from this number, the person added me on skype asking to place an ad on gumtree for them. Very pushy and harassing, went through with it as far as I could just for fun. I received call from this morning while I am at work, so I politely declined it. And I asked whether this is one of those commercial calls because I would like to be taken off the list forever, and the guy on the phone lied and said is to do with my life insurance, etc. (which is rather funny cause I am not currently paying any). Missed call unknown number

I had the same experience as Dani. I d cut them off as they couldn t give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably a scam. I have now blocked this number

Just received a call from this number now. A guy called James was the caller and said he was calling on behalf of my bank as I had apparently been in contact with them, which I haven t and he had my name also. It sounded like he was giggling and chuckling whilst he was reading out his spiel so I hung up. Will be keeping an eye out for this number calling again so I won t pick up.

Latest incarnation of persistent cold calling from this Belfast based company. This time they are trying to flog VMWare. As usual, MO involves 2-3 calls daily with no chance of removal from their lists - they say the will but never do.

Initially made out they were calling on behalf of Vodafone about an early upgrade on my phone but when I asked again if they were Vodafone and I was told they were Future Comms who work alongside Vodafone and the other major networks. I told them no thanks, and ended the call. (Now blocked.) She was very polite though and not pushy.

I have contacted BT and they inform me this is a Dummy phone no. There is no charge unless you get connected. This is just a nuisance call. Just hang up or block the call on you...
