NUISANCE CALLER. When I picked up this call, I was given the silent treatment. When I tried to call back, I got "you have dialled an incorrect number...."
SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
