Spam - pretending to be HM Revenue & Customs

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

Silent call - just goes dead. I am getting a number of these calls from London numbers - I never speak first so obviously aren't activating the voice activated scam.

Incoming call at 14:19 18:05:17 as a BT text message It s a poor recorded message, the caller voice is female it states that the call is from the HMRC and advised that you should contact your solicitor or legal advisor and then goes on to threatens legal action if you fail to call back advising not ignore this call. I called back the number after obtaining it from 1471 caller service the caller’s number was 0116-304-0838 which I called back and challenged the validity of the caller who stated he was from

Scam number, premium rate, do not call back.....

Cold call from this number always at bloody tea time! Unsolicited call despite registering with TPS and specifying not to share my details with third parties. This is about a week after meter reads done and we are currently supplied by npower as with other callers... Save yourself the hassle, don t answer!

I had to call them back as I was waiting for an urgent call. They say they are a charity for children with brain damage. I think this is a scam.

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. I was getting calls from this number daily. I blocked it and then started getting calls from 0121 389 0867. This is blocked and suspect it ll switch to another very similar number. Just keep blocking.
