This number just called my mobile and a lady said that she had heard that I had been involved in an accident that wasn t my fault, when I said no, she asked when the accident had happened! Spam call. Thank goodness I can block numbers on my mobile!

Very robotic voice suggesting an accident that wasn t my fault. Unable to respond to basic questions.

I had a minor motor incident and claimed on the other driver s policy 2 years ago. These ****s call me EVERY day, sometimes twice a day, despite me telling them not tonand asking to have my no. removed from their database. They know Ive made some kind of claim. Her insurer MUST have sold my no. illegally (data protection). Sadly i didnt keep the insurer s details.

Telepest. People from India claiming to do election research on behalf of something called NQR, and they keep ringing repeatedly - probably a scam that starts by pretending to be a survey. They keep ringing even if you tell them not to.

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow. They told me that the warranty on my Hotpoint washing machine had expired today and asked if I would like to take out a new Service agreement. I advised them not to begin a call with a lie. (My Hotpoint w/m is 2nd-hand and has no warranty.)

Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.
