The clue is in the number. Apart from inner city London, when last I looked, all UK numbers begin with 01. Clive, Peter, Brian Stephen etc are NOT popular names in India as these people would have you believe. The bottom line is a simple one, if you don’t recognise the number, don’t answer. Ignore the call
This is a Cash plus banking extra security call... I got a VM saying it was Cashplus but was reluctant to call back that number so rang Cash plus directly. They confirmed that they do have the extra call center in Redditch and directly transferred me to the relevant team.
Scam...I was called four times today and nobody answered at the other end of the line but after about 20 seconds an answer machine said: "Good bye!" I have blocked the caller's number.
