Just had a very strange phone call to my mobile from 1135181884 a Leeds number telling me he was sending me 10 free goes on the national lottery, I asked what the catch was he said none . A scammer claiming to be from Microsoft. Dirty rotter scammer, and I told him so, then disconnected the phone

Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.

Calls then when you pick up and say hello - they hang up. You can call the number back but it s either engaged or a dead tone??? Very strange!!
