Man with Indian accent said his name was Ray Hamilton claiming to be calling from HMRC and said I was due nearly £500 in tax rebate. Asked for my card details but didnt give them to him as it is a scam. HMRC wouldnt ring to say you are due a tax rebate let alone ask for your card details on the phone.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This could be also some good working money trap, be aware, probably I would recommend to block it... Did someone answer this number? Could be a legitimate service, but I doubt it.

They keep asking if I have worked in industry and want to claim for an injury - but I have never worked in industry! I have no idea where they got my contact details from but their data is clearly VERY inaccurate. PPI ambulance chasers - really poor call, asking to speak to my now dead mother and when told deceased, went on to say there is good news for me as I can claim up to ?112k!!! Rude, didn t listen and badly scripted. The unsolicited caller could not explain to me how she could claim back between ?2500 and ?112,000 (!!!) when all I have ever had is an overdraft that is paid off in full at the end of the month!! She was happy to end the call when I said I worked in the finance industry and know I had no PPI.
