Last week I bought a BT BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker phone and it works a treat. I am not connected with BT in any way but I can highly recommend this phone. It will keep a log of the calls it blocks and this number called me today but the phone blocked it and it didn t ring. Peace at last!!

As above an Indian chap who said that his name was Jasper, we sometimes get called 20 times a day, he says that he is from Microsoft calling as they have noticed some issues with my operating system. I let him go on for a while, he wanted me to sign in and let him take control of my pc, I then said that I was a licensed Microsoft engineer and the line went dead immediately.

He was distracted by my dog barking and wanted to get into a conversation about my dog which was obviously a rouse to get me to try and interact with him. We have been receiving a large number of calls since last Wednesday from various scared and vulnerable people thinking this is true. We have now had to change our phone number to stop the calls.
