It was a recorded message with a very polite womans voice stating she was from bank security advising that there was two suspicious transactions from my account one was £300 pound from Amazon and the other was a card transaction from abriad of £1300. The recorded message then asked me to press ONE to speak to an advsor. I hung up the phone immediately and called 1471 the call was timed at 1345 hrs on 26-01-2023,
This number belongs to a foofing contractor. I can't remember the company name. I have been messaging him asking for an invoice for work he has done but he seems very reluctant to give me the invoice. I am trying to track down the company name.

First half the call I thought I was talking to a real person, said they were from some housing repair scheme and said I'd submitted a damage claim. The second I said I had not the voice changed to an automated response in a totally different voice saying Thank you for your time, have a nice day and disconnected.

This is a scam number as they have called my house phone number today saying my bank cards have 2 transactions going out,that are not recognised, little do they know my house phone number has never been given to anyone apart from my sister in law who lives abroad as we don't use it we use our mobiles. SCAM Recorded female voice stating that some account belonging to me (didn't catch what she said) had sent £600 overseas and this was a check to see if I had sent it. Press 1 for Yes it was me and 2 for no it wasn't. As it was clearly a scam, I did neither ! Strange that the search shows the number as being from Rothesay - which I'd always regarded as a prestigious place !!!

SPAM Call came through at 15:46 on my mobile today (Mon 24th 2023. I did not know the caller who sounded Asian and gave his name, which I did not catch, and said he was calling from the O2 network. As my mobile is not supported by O2, I told him so and said 'goodbye' and hung up....and promptly blocked the number on my mobile.

My mother has been contacted many times on this and other phone numbers. The message, from the caller is always the same, she tells my mother, first in English and then in Chinese that she has a package waiting for her, to collect from the Chinese embassy. This is clearly a scam call.
