I Received a call from this number twice today and when i was able to answer they introduced themselves as Consumer helpline, the lady on the call advised that i had overpaid for finance in 2011 and she wished to help me get this refunded however i have never taken anything out on finance. I asked to submit a subject access request under the Data Protection Act where she then passed me to her manager. First Assist from York called today, Asked to speak to me (using my FULL NAME), asked who was calling! He said his name David and calling from First Direct and ringing about the injuries I received in the accident I had last year . . cut him short to ask him for his mothers phone number, he ask why. Told him so I could get my son to ring her up and tell her what a con merchant her son is. TOTAL SILENCE . . when to tried to speak again cut him off. Now blocked.

Unwanted call

Ambulance Chasers Calling about an accident 18 months ago. They said that it was possible to claim compensation without providing evidence to back it up (money for nothing) etc.... Wouldn t get it that I wasn t interested. Had to say no and please don t call me again. Have blocked their number on my phone so it rejects them automatically. They seem to operate from different numbers every fem months though...

Reports on other sites vary, some say funeral plans, some say you ve been in an accident, etc. Either way, one to avoid.
