Received call this morning. It rang 4 time then off. Message left supposedly from Amazon. Number shown as being from Leicester. Suspect it is a scam.

Received a text message from a number displayed as "43723". Text message reads "HSBC FRAUD ALERT: We have held a recent payment on your account for 452.00GBP to J ALIM - REF:B6JX. Please contact fraud on 03301900571 for further assistance." Probably a scam phone number.

This number called me saying there is a payment of £900 pending for online shopping, they wanted me to press 1 to report it as fraud. I don't trust this number so I put the phone down

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Text received from this number advising that I had had a missed delivery from Royal Mail. The website to click for re-delivery was incorrect to the one used by Royal mail and had RoyalMail.Re-delivery.com and not Royalmail.re-schedule.com. Tried ringing it and it stated it was a Giff Gaff mobile, however, 07510 numbers belong to O2.

Fraud SCAM She wanted me to confirm , did I have some accident and when I said to whom you want to speak to and she repeated just say YES/NO to my question that did you have accident. I hung up the call and she called again and I said why shall I confirm any thing when you yourself do not know to whom you are talking to and she said just Shut-up and hung up the phone :( What a shame
