have had a few calls form this numer speradically. when i answer i hear a sort of bouing sound then nothing for 10~seconds, then they just hang up. when i call back im directed to EE voice mail claiming the person cant accept the call at the moment

Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!

This company ring monthly. The woman today was very aggressive saying she was doing me a favour and wanted a reason why I was refusing such a good deal. Asked to speak to manager, she came with a higher voice, I wasn?t fooled. Asked again for manager and who promptly cut me off. Rang back the number it was Hotweeks. Got through to manager who said he would remove my details from their system. They have said that before . If they ring again it?s off to Ofcom.

While I was unavailable this number called. Not at first recognising it, I was about to return the call out of courtesy. Then I checked, and realised it was the p.p.i. criminals yet again. SCAM possibly. Called workplace land line. Pretended to be Virgin Media. Young man from South Asia. Convinced I had problems with the wifi and they had warnings. unable to clarify what about. Then he asked how many devices were connected and hung up! I was just enjoying that! :-(
