Keep getting calls from this number 3 in the last hour. Silence then an automated voice says "Goodbye"
Called to speak to someone else. Told him no-one of that name ever lived here, and I considered his call to be a nuisance call. He then had the audacity to try a sales pitch! Slammed receiver down. Tried to return call to make a complaint, but constantly engaged. Www says company is bogus, so beware!
Reading comments I bought a car from car base a few weeks ago, could be to do with that but missed call. Will probably block.

Said not interested and hung up - the woman rang straight back and started to become abusive. I exploded and told her rather impolitely where to go. She stated she would ring back every day just to annoy me! According to web search, this is a number based in India and they are just attempting to extort money from us!

Claimed to be from HMRC about my National Insurance number and to say that my number has been involved in fraudulent activity and that they we're suspending my NI number and to press 1 to speak with an officer. I will report this to HMRC and the police action fraud website. The PEST is: Domestic & General :( They are a cold-calling pest phishing for new Loft Insulation contracts. I have automated calls on a daily basis for 2 months now - 3 rings and they hang up - never leaving a message. I wish the government would provide the regulators with some teeth to prosecute all these highly persistent phone pests making MULTIPLE nuisance calls. I changed my number relatively recently to avoid this, and I m ex-directory and I ve "opted out" so they should check before they call.
