telephoned number back to hear a recorded message saying "You're call is very important. please stay on the line for am agent" Call then went to 'music on hold'. Needless to say I hung up. Recorded message did not state who the company was. I had another call from a completely different number today and on calling back had exactly the same experience as above

Six calls so far today, each one claims to be from BT and calling about my internet. When I say that they're not who they are they either hang up or argue that they are from BT. If asked to remove my number they do the same, then I get another call an hour or so later. They do not take no for an answer. Obviously using false names, company name and a number which purports to be in UK.
