Call talking about a refund on my phone bill. Asked what company was involved and told it was BT. Apparently due a refund of £200! Told them not with that company. SCAM

Pro scammer... He will try to convince you that he is from a bank you are using and he will try to make you tell him details of your bank total.. Do not answer.. Or if you answer him tell him to fuck off

Sorry for repeating my reviews but it is the only way I can correct my error in accidentally rating it Positive. It is a dangerous scam using an automated voice claiming to be bank security.

SCAM Said from Vodafone upgrade team and could offer me a great deal on a upgrade. Asked them to email me the details so I could check it over. Email looked dodgy, address wasn't a Vodafone one. Forwarded onto Vodafone and they said not a genuine email from them. Called me back again and got angry when I challenged them on what Vodafone said. Told me I'd get another email to prove they were genuine within 30mins, still waiting a few hours later. Four calls today alone, all from different numbers!

When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. SCAM - Apparently they were from Sky trying to test my broadband speed. Notwithstanding I am not with Sky, I asked them to tell me my own name and postcode and they hung up. How rude! I assume the next step would be to access my computer to 'fix' the issue.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. I had a call on 1/30/2023 from 44+ 0141 628 5948 and the phone number I was a scam they was trying to see what company I was with on my sim card and they was trying to get my bank details because they said my iPhone been hacked and I need a new one and they wanted my bank details.

I answered this call on my phone but no one replied on the other end when i said Hello. 01560 485445 This number has now been permanently blocked on my phone. Don't answer unless you know for definite who is calling you. Just my advice.

Male non english accent called my landline from 07342065763 17 Jan 2023. Stated he was from Amazon security and that he had emailed me as someone had ordered a £600 phone on my account. I asked whose name was on the account as he said it was my name. I asked again whose name and he said D Maddison. When I say they don't live here he hung up. Obviously has some old phone records.
