This number called me this morning. I did a 1741. Not knowing the number, I looked it up on line and find it is a scam sight. Surely the phone company knowns who this is?

Left long message on answering mach. Serious law suit against me unless I rang. Robotic voice, Americanized pronunciation & legal phrases. Did not specify name of myself or partner. Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Caller knew my name and said he wanted to discuss fall in pension values. Asked him how he got my name and number - he said through a third party.

Had a call from this number on my Moby, I answered it and asked who they were. Fella said he was from a company that was enquiring if I had a Funeral Plan in place. Cold calling from companies that trawl the internet looking for innocent people like me who have inadvertently entered into legitimate competitions online and think that because I have entered my Moby Number to the competition company, that they can ring me. I blocked this number straightaway on my Moby.

Surely to goodness someone, somewhere, has got to put a stop to this. Who is paying for all these claims? Us, in our high insurance costs of course. It is pissing me off, big time. Stop phoning me - I was not hurt, but it is getting to the point where perhaps I should claim just to stop these calls. Two bleeding years I have been fending off these damned nuisance calls.

Keep calling even tho I didn t answer, when the son accidently answered cos I wasn t near the phone he told me who thery were. It is no use you asking/telling them to remove your number because they don t. I actually changed my number for this reason, and guess what? today they tried ringing my new number. It is now set to block and no matter what you tell them they just keep trying.

A guy called Shaun said he was calling about a virus that was being used to illegally download porn in China and Japan, he got rather highrate when i told him that i had an Apple Mac and not a windows comouter. i also got through to their police department which sounded like the same guy standing a little bit further away from the phone. AVOID AT ALL COST

I didn t answer the call as I didn t recognise the number. I can see here how many times this number has been searched. This is enough for me to know not to bother answering the call.
